Summer Time = Fun Time!! :)

Have not really had a whole lot to blog about lately. We have just been enjoying the summer here in the Okanagan Valley. It's such a great place to live in the summer if you can stand the tourist crowds ha ha ha.Other than taking care of daily business we have been enjoying the beach, having picnics and taking walks in the evening when it cools down a bit. I like to take a morning walk walk down to Skaha when I can and it makes me feel like I'm on vacation when I see the water sparkling in the sun and hear the speedboats and jet skis out on the lake.

On a more realistic note Doug has picked up some more hours at work so he's almost at full time hours now and he loves working with his client. I am still working towards getting my funding for school. This is quite a long process but I am sure it will be worth it in the end. I just got some wicked results from my A1C hitting 7 right on the nose so that's really exciting for me.

Travis has been hanging out with friends and has a bit more time to himself now that soccer is finished although I think he will be playing again in another league soon! 

Victoria is having a great time in Ontario until August 4th. She has had lots of visits with family and has gone to Marineland and Canada's Wonderland. 

Now we are getting ready for the Petersen Family Reunion camping weekend in Salmon Arm and we are really looking forward to seeing everyone and of course we love camping! So my next post will be all about the trip and with lots of pics too!
